If we can all quote quicker, access more markets, and get better quotes, we will grow our business substantially.
With the proliferation of online rating options, agents can access more markets quickly and obtain new quotes much more efficiently.
It all starts with having the right class codes and risk exposure, NAIC and SIC codes, Sales, Payroll, etc.
Momentum AMP has ample space to store such data, making it readily available for online or even traditional submissions. The key is to make sure you have that data in your database.
One of the best places to see key rating data is the CL Rating data section under the Insured/Prospect profile:
The Momentum CL Rater uses this data to start a submission, saving you from having to retype the data manually.
Momentum AMP offers a tool that lets users identify records that are missing key rating data.
The tool can be located under MISCELLANEOUS --> Data Quality Tools --> Missing CL Rating data.
Furthermore, our Momentum Toolbox offers an option to populate this data using third-party databases.
In Peter's favorite reports section, we take a look at Accounts at Risk of Not-Renewing.
In our Highlighted Favorite Reports section, we take a closer look at a "report" in the Renewal Center that identifies policies at risk of non-renewing due to a large jump in the renewal term premium. This is not a report per se, but all our grid pages present the ability to run ad hoc reports.
So, just select the Renewal Center from the left menu. Next, in the Pct Change filter, enter the desired threshold. For this example, I picked 15 percent.
Click Search and the Renewal center will display the policies that have a renewal quote or a next term where the premium is greater than 15 percent compared to the expiring term.
This will help your team quickly identify accounts in danger of not renewing.
This data can be exported as a report in an Excel or PDF format.
